Job summary

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Army's SIGINT R&D efforts and develop cutting-edge SATCOM capabilities. You will lead lifecycle activities from requirements to fielding, working with RF and networked systems in diverse environments.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a relevant engineering BS, and extensive experience with SATCOM, RF chains, and field operations. Occasional travel to operational sites and vendors is expected.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• BS in a related technical discipline.
• 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience engineering, integrating, testing, or operating SATCOM or related systems.
• Knowledge of satellite communications architecture and RF signal chains.
• Ability to develop and interpret system diagrams and procedures.
• Experience with field installation, setup and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of IP networking and related devices.
• Ability to travel regularly for field work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems engineering lifecycle for SATCOM prototypes from requirements through fielding and transition.
• Develop system architectures, interface definitions, block and RF diagrams, BOMs, and procedures.
• Design and integrate deployable SATCOM systems including antennas, LNBs, BUCs, modems, cabling, and networking.
• Travel to locations to install, configure, operate, test, troubleshoot, and recover SATCOM systems.
• Create and maintain operator manuals, installation guides, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
