Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a SATCOM Engineer III / Network Engineer to support a government customer across WAN, LAN, and CAN networks. You will design, install, troubleshoot, and document complex networks, including voice, video, and data systems, while maintaining security per DoD requirements.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and 8+ years in network/transport technologies, with experience in SATCOM and enterprise-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with little direction.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Strong written and oral communication for executive audiences.
• 8+ years in Network and Transport technologies and large-scale enterprise/global networks.
• Experience with DoD architecture frameworks and related planning docs.
• Experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS and multicast.
• Experience with SATCOM, VSAT, and large satellite ground systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, monitoring and installation across WAN/LAN/CAN environments.
• Research and implement enterprise network solutions to support mission goals.
• Troubleshoot network media and components.
• Monitor health and performance of network hardware and software.
• Develop roadmaps for capabilities, operations and technologies.
• Assist with test plans and documentation for network changes.
• Support network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization.
• Evaluate new network technologies to improve capacity and reliability.
• Follow government security processes and policies.
• Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with agencies.
• Perform site surveys for new installations and technology refresh.
• Install and troubleshoot SATCOM equipment.
• Maintain network architecture diagrams.
