Job summary

CACI seeks a SATCOM Field Service Representative to build and maintain USSF systems, performing hands-on troubleshooting, installation, and deployment support. The role demands adaptability for travel to OCONUS sites and strong collaboration with customers and vendors.

Required are a CompTIA Security+ certification and an Active Secret clearance, plus experience with SATCOM hardware, Windows/Linux administration, and physical equipment handling.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and network issues.
• Experience maintaining hardware systems and SATCOM terminal equipment.
• Windows OS and Linux system administration expertise.
• Willingness to travel OCONUS and perform physical actions (lifting, racking, stacking).
• US Passport with at least one year until expiration.
• Team-oriented with ability to work with customers and OEM vendors.

Responsibilities

• Primary frontline technical support for deployed USSF SATCOM systems.
• Travel to OCONUS locations as needed; fly on short notice to support deployments.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, hardware replacements and installations.
• Document tasks in Jira and manage spare pools and asset tracking.
• Provide basic system administration training to operators and remote monitoring.
