Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions seeks a highly capable Systems Engineer to lead full lifecycle engineering for radar and hypersonic programs in aerospace and defense. You will develop requirements, create system designs, and maintain Cameo models as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, MBSE/Cameo proficiency, and the ability to lead technical reviews while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• 5–10 years of relevant industry experience.
• U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Analyzing customer/stakeholder requirements, decomposing and allocating to system elements.
• Developing system architectures for new and existing systems.
• Conducting trade studies to determine optimal requirements and architecture.
• Developing system/subsystem design documentation and interfaces.
• Developing and executing system verification.
• Leading or supporting system engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Assisting in proposals and presentation materials.
• Performing peer reviews of teammate work.
• Developing and reviewing test plans and reports.
