Job summary

SciTec Incorporated in Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in software-defined sensor data processing pipelines and supporting computational systems to support the GBRD modernization program.

You will develop requirements, architecture, MBSE artifacts, and verification plans, coordinating with radar frontend teams, algorithm developers, cybersecurity, mission operations stakeholders, MBSE validators, and government technical directors, while ensuring traceability and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field.
5+ years in systems engineering for sensor/real-time software.
Experience with architectures, requirements, and interface specs for data processing.
Familiarity with high-throughput sensor data processing systems.
Familiarity with MBSE tools and SysML diagrams.
Strong cross‑functional technical communication.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

Define the system requirements and traceability for software processing flows (ingest, timing, outputs, interfaces).
Develop high‑level software architecture for Kubernetes‑based services and supporting infrastructure.
Create and maintain MBSE artifacts (SysML diagrams, ICDs) describing system behavior.
Plan integration strategies and verification activities including system‑in‑the‑loop testbeds.
Coordinate with radar frontend, signal processing, cybersecurity, operations, MBSE validators, and government leads.
Identify and track technical risks; support configuration management in a centralized repository.
Produce artifacts for external program reviews and internal design meetings.
