Job summary
Raytheon is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Product Manager to drive the evolution of a critical satellite ground systems platform within an Agile Release Train. You will own the ART backlog, define the product vision and roadmap, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you will partner with System Architects, Engineers, RTEs, and Product Owners, lead PI planning, and mentor Product Owners while
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Agile environments and SAFe practices.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile planning/reporting platforms.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the ART.
- Serve as liaison between stakeholders and the ART, prioritizing backlog.
- Translate system requirements into actionable features with engineers.
- Lead backlog refinement, roadmap development, and cross-team coordination for PI Planning.
- Monitor feature delivery using Agile metrics and mission outcomes.
- Collaborate with SAFe roles to ensure integrated program execution.
- Mentor Product Owners and support staffing and resource planning.
