Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, with 5–7+ years preferred in the design and analysis of precision electromechanical equipment.
• Strong experience in mechanical design, packaging, electrical engineering, and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools; experience with Siemens NX (UG NX) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design for complex rotary servo motion assemblies used in military and aerospace applications.
• Develop system concepts and requirements across mechanical, structural dynamics, electrical, thermal, and rotary motion engineering disciplines.
• Evaluate design alternatives using fundamental engineering principles to predict system-level performance and determine optimal solutions.
• Lead integrated product development teams to ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.
• Monitor project milestones, track progress, and communicate program status to senior management.
• Interpret and translate customer specifications and technical requirements into engineering solutions.
• Prepare statements of work, product specifications, and technical documentation.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and suppliers throughout program development.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure system integration, performance, and reliability.
