Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead requirements derivation, development, and verification across complex architectures.

You will drive traceability with DOORS or similar tools and work with hardware, software, and integration teams to ensure rigorous system verification and validation. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in systems engineering, MBSE familiarity, strong documentation skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while contributing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in requirements derivation, development, and management.
• Proven expertise in system verification and validation.
• Experience with systems engineering tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, decompose, and derive system and subsystem requirements.
• Lead and perform system verification planning, test case development, and verification execution.
• Ensure requirements traceability using systems engineering tools such as DOORS or equivalent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and integration engineers.
• Support design reviews, technical analyses, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to architecture development and system modeling, as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting during development and integration phases.
• Support PNT-related system design, algorithm understanding, or integration tasks (desired).
