RTX is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our SETC Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.

This onsite role is based ~100% onsite at a customer facility in Cambridge, MA, requiring active security clearance and experience across systems engineering domains.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems requirements, systems software, and systems hardware.
• Experience with DOORs, MBSE, and Cameo / MagicDraw.
• Good communication and ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, system trades, and system interfaces.
• Develop and maintain SysML models, linking requirements and generating design documentation.
• Interface with cross functional teams to guide subsystem development and ensure lifecycle compliance.
• Interface with Customer and program stakeholders; provide technical guidance to the team.
• Conduct peer reviews and communicate technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.

What You Will Do:

• Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, system trades, and system interfaces
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Develop and maintain detailed SysML descriptive system models, linking and synchronization of requirements, and generate design documentation / views
• Interface with cross functional teams, such as Electrical and Software engineering, to help guide subsystem development and ensure compliance with requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Frequent interface with Customer and other program stakeholders and collaborators
• Conduct and/or support technical peer reviews and provide constructive feedback; Document and provide technical guidance to other members of the design team
• Communicate technical topics and issues in a clear and concise manner to both technical peers and non-technical team members

This role is based ~100% onsite at a customer facility in Cambridge, MA.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience with systems requirements, systems software, and systems hardware; experience with systems integration and/or systems test is a plus
• Experience with DOORs, MBSE, and Cameo / MagicDraw

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in software, hardware, electrical and/or mechanical design.
• Experience in requirements development, design, verification, and validation.
• Experience syncing and tracing requirements between DOORs and SysML modeling tools such as Cameo / MagicDraw.
• Experience managing trade studies and design decisions.
• Experience effectively presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders.
• Experience in all phases of development: concept, requirements, design, implementation, and test.
• Experience supporting design reviews during all phases of development.
• 10 or more years of experience on DoD and/or space programs.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
