The role focuses on integrating hardware and software, executing test plans, troubleshooting performance, and validating requirements. Leveraging Digital Transformation (DTx) techniques, including MBSE and Agile development, you will drive smarter, faster execution, gaining broad system‑level visibility and hands‑on work in lab and field environments with close collaboration across engineering teams. This is an onsite role located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Create or modify existing electronic warfare signal processing and control algorithms.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including test simulations and lab tests to verify system capability.
  • Evaluate and assess functional performance of developmental RF systems, including signal processing subsystems, firmware, and control algorithms.
  • Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Troubleshoot Test activities in labs and in the field.
  • Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment.
  • Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, using analysis tools such as MATLAB.
  • Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Maintain engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs).
  • Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconference meetings, and working group meetings.
  • Support implementation of process requirements.
  • The role will require domestic travel (up to 20%).
What You Will Learn

  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols.
  • Experience integrating software and firmware onto electronic hardware systems.
