Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field; 8+ years of experience in systems engineering for software‑intensive systems.
• Experience defining requirements, interfaces, and verification plans in agile environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship are requirements prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities for reusable application services from concept through verification.
• Define functional behavior, interfaces, and verification strategies for common capabilities.
• Design observability solutions including instrumentation, metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Develop verification strategies for automated testing and end-to-end validation.
• Collaborate with software teams to design automated test scenarios and CI/CD workflows.
