Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Principal Systems Engineer – Signals Analyst to join our Mission Systems Engineering team in Aurora, Colorado. You will lead complex signal analyses, integrate signals with multiple intelligence sources, and produce actionable, high-impact assessments for senior stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical judgment, expertise in RF signals and communication systems, and an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in signals analysis.
• Experience with RF signals, communications systems, and network protocols.
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of enterprise-scale solutions to complex tasking challenges across multiple teams and mission areas.
• Conduct advanced signal analysis to identify patterns and inform program-level decisions.
• Perform expert-level signal processing and exploitation across communications systems and mentor others in advanced methodologies.
• Integrate signals with intelligence and operational sources to produce mission-impactful assessments for leadership.
• Author and quality-review analytical reports, briefs, and technical documentation for leadership accountability.
• Employ and optimize tools and workflows for signal processing and identify capability gaps for long-term planning.
• Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams and represent the team in high-visibility technical discussions and customer engagements.
