Job summary

Iridium is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Broadcast Services and Network Quality of Service team. The role focuses on network QoS, autodialer optimization, KPI automation, systems design, integration and troubleshooting of network systems.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 8+ years of experience in complex systems. A hybrid work policy applies with in-office collaboration and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of system engineering methodologies.
• Direct experience in telecommunications, ground networks, electronics, or satellites is desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize network quality of service for autodialer systems.
• Perform database maintenance and system configuration tasks.
• Generate monthly SLA and performance reports.
• Document system analyses and interface definitions for projects.
• Collaborate with service owners to define KPI requirements.
