Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Navy Weapons Systems Munitions Integration and Hypersonics division. The role focuses on planning, deploying, and ensuring readiness of a new CPS Land-Based Test Site (LBTS).

You will work with government customers and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable implementation plans. The position requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to analyze complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Engineering background in systems engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to analyze technical information, assess system performance, and support risk-based engineering assessments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and engage with government customers and other stakeholders.
• Experience supporting systems engineering, technical analysis, system performance assessments, or engineering risk evaluations.
• Ability to evaluate complex technical problems and develop defensible, evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, briefings, and recommendations for technical or program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate deployment, setup, and readiness of the new CPS LBTS.
• Develop and execute an implementation plan to transition to a fully operational testing environment.
• Support scheduling, resource coordination, and integration activities for the testing environment.
• Coordinate hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure requirements for readiness.
• Collaborate with technical teams, government customers, and stakeholders to identify requirements and resolve challenges.
• Track progress, identify risks or constraints, and provide milestone updates.
• Other duties as assigned.
