Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering in Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) to join the Mission Analysis Group in Herndon, VA. You will develop analytic toolsets for constructive simulation across multiple domains and support customer engagements, proposals, and R&D efforts.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years (or graduate degree with 4+ years), active Top Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with AFSIM/STK and MBSE tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience (or graduate degree with 4 years).
• Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Experience executing simulation in MS&A analytic tools: AFSIM or STK.
• 2+ years integrating systems simulations with MBSE tools: Cameo, ModelCenter, DOORS, Rhapsody.
• 2+ years scripting languages: Python, C++, C#, R, MATLAB.
• Experience with Agile development, version control, and Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git, TortoiseGit.
• Prior U.S. military, DoD, or other U.S. Government engineering or operations experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
• MBSE tooling and multi-domain simulation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Explain and influence changes to policies, practices, or approaches; drive improvements.
• Brief senior leaders and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate MS&A engineering efforts to integrate system performance into operational analysis.
• Design multi-domain simulation capabilities using AFSIM, MATLAB, and STK.
• Integrate GOTS and COTS simulations into existing software infrastructure.
• Build analytic toolsets representing each phase of F2T2EA with data visualization.
• Document model specifications for reusable simulation capabilities and manage configuration.
• Develop models, simulations, and analyses; create designs and test plans for programs.
• Support CONOPS development and ensure capabilities meet mission requirements.
• Develop new simulation capabilities and support technical expos/roadshows.
