Job summary

Saalex Solutions - A Saalex Company in Ridgecrest, CA seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to provide advanced M&S and systems analysis for weapon systems throughout the acquisition lifecycle. The role includes developing simulations, analyzing flight test data, and supporting VV&A with data-driven recommendations.

Required: active Top Secret clearance, 7+ years in M&S or related defense programs, and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Master's preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience supporting Modeling & Simulation, systems analysis, test and evaluation, weapon systems engineering, or related defense acquisition programs.
• Experience developing, validating, executing, or analyzing high-fidelity simulations to assess system performance and mission effectiveness.
• Experience with VV&A activities, flight test analysis, data reduction, and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, run, and analyze high-fidelity simulations to evaluate system performance and mission effectiveness.
• Conduct preflight and postflight test analysis, data reduction, and performance assessment.
• Design and execute simulation experiments using statistical and analytical methods.
• Support VV&A efforts through simulation and analysis activities.
• Develop technical reports, briefings, and analysis packages for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support system development, testing, and evaluation.
