Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineer in Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) to join the Mission Analysis Group in Herndon, VA. You will develop analytic toolsets for constructive simulation across domains and work with a diverse, distributed team to support proposals, experiments, and program needs.

Required: a BS with 9+ years (or MS with 7+), DoD TS/SCI clearance, and hands-on experience with AFSIM, STK, MATLAB, and MBSE tools. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of related experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Active DoD TS security clearance required (TOP SECRET, SCI/SAP preferred).
• Experience with MS&A tools (AFSIM or STK) and MBSE integrations.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, C++, C#, R, MATLAB.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments using Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead MS&A engineering efforts to integrate system performance into operational analysis.
• Design multi-domain simulation capabilities using AFSIM, MATLAB and STK.
• Develop and maintain analytic toolsets for F2T2EA workflows.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams on requirements and milestones.
• Document model specifications and manage configuration across classification levels.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer within MAG.
