TekSynap seeks a Lead Systems Engineer - Senior to support the DIA CIO Infrastructure Services contract in Colorado. The role emphasizes end-to-end system design, verification, and cross-discipline collaboration in a high-security environment.

Required are U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and DoD 8570 IAT II certification. The position offers a full-time, on-site schedule in Aurora, CO with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance required, polygraph will be required.
• Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combos as listed.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required; transition to DoD 8140.
• Demonstrated senior-level leadership performing Lead Systems Engineer tasks in critical IT environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems throughout their life cycle.
• Generates quantifiable requirements from customer and planning input.
• Ensures requirements comply with government standards via formal verification.
• Translates strategies into system specifications with other engineering teams.
• Coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures for product development.
• Leads system conceptual design and documentation activities.
