Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA, to lead cross-functional systems engineering activities within a large defense program. You will translate customer requirements into concrete specifications and drive architecture development using MBSE tools, while coordinating with multiple IPTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Software, or related STEM field.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active DoD security clearance preferred or ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into specifications.
• Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
• Ensure system requirements and designs align with program needs.
• Collaborate with IPT counterparts to create engineering artifacts and support reviews.
