Job summary

Albers Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work onsite in Melbourne, FL. You will lead system modeling efforts using Cameo and MBSE practices, collaborating with engineers, program management, and logistics to define requirements and specifications.

The role requires strong SysML skills, prior experience with MBSE tools, and the ability to operate within a fast-paced, team-based environment. U.S. citizenship and a TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, and/or other SysML tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and analytical skills.
• Experience working on small agile teams
• Experience with modeling and simulation tool sets and software
• Experience in risk analysis and Risk Analysis Reports
• Experience in providing engineering design analysis for field performance
• Familiarity with aviation certification processes preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
• 1 year experience with Cameo or similar MBSE tool
• U.S. citizen with TS security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct work of other engineers as SME.
• Perform system model development, analysis, or reviews.
• Lead on less complex tasks and portions of models.
• Support generation and modeling of design specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program management to define system requirements.
• Maintain filing systems for project tracking.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
• Support technical proposals and provide comments on scope of work.
