Job summary

Albers Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for an onsite role at the Melbourne, FL location. You will perform systems modeling, work with Lead Architects and PMs, and ensure following proper SE procedures while supporting customer efforts in aviation systems.

The role requires experience with MBSE tools (Cameo/SysML), strong communication, and prior work on agile teams. U.S. citizenship and TS clearance are required. The position is onsite and involves cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cameo SysML tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and analytical skills.
• Experience with small agile teams
• Modeling and simulation tool sets and software
• Experience in risk analysis and Risk Analysis Reports
• Engineering design analysis to identify problems affecting performance
• Familiarity with aviation airworthiness certification processes preferred
• This role requires U.S. citizenship and TS clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the work of other engineers and stakeholders as SME.
• Perform system model development, analysis, or review tasks.
• Lead on less complex tasks and model sections of an analysis or design review.
• Support the generation and modeling of design specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, financial, and program management to define system specs.
• Maintain filing systems for tracking project status.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system/subsystem specs.
• Verify compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
• Support development of technical proposals and comments on scope of work.
