Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a seasoned systems engineer to contribute to the definition and evolution of system architecture using MBSE tools. You will generate and trace requirements, develop verification methodologies, and coordinate Interface Control Documents for internal and external interfaces.

You will also create and coordinate customer deliverables for program reviews, participate in lab-based demonstrations, and mentor junior engineers in MBSE modeling and verification planning.

Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE tools (Rhapsody, Cameo, SysML) and the ability to develop and maintain system models.
• Strong knowledge of model-based systems engineering practices and verification planning.
• Experience in writing, managing, and tracing complex requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of system architecture using MBSE tools.
• Generate, allocate, and trace requirements; develop verification methodologies.
• Create and coordinate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for interfaces.
• Produce technical reports, trade studies, and compliance matrices for reviews.
• Lead lab-based demonstrations and hardware-in-the-loop testing to validate behavior.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in requirements management and MBSE.
