Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (MBSE) or Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) to lead model-based engineering efforts from Woodland Hills, CA. You will work with cross-functional teams, applying MBSE, DevSecOps, and Agile practices to advance national defense capabilities.

The role requires building flexible models of complex systems, ensuring traceability of evolving requirements, and delivering high-quality analyses to technical leads and government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relative experience for Systems Engineer; Master’s with 0+ years; Top Secret clearance required.
• Demonstrated ability to create flexible, robust models of complex systems.
• Experience with MBSE standards to guide model development.

Responsibilities

• Develop MBSE model profiles, system diagrams, architecture frameworks, and model queries.
• Collaborate with software leads to align program intent and requirements.
• Provide recommendations from analysis results to optimize system performance and ensure requirements traceability.
• Support architecture model development and model configuration management.
• Engage with cross-functional teams and government customers to deliver high-quality products on time.
