Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services and help integrate mission systems into the government baseline at a customer facility.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a STEM degree, and extensive experience in MBSE, model-based engineering, and cloud-enabled solutions for DoD/IC programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 9+ years experience, or Master’s with 7+ years.
• Experience in requirements, system architectures, interfaces, validation and verification.
• Polished communicator; ability to coordinate across government levels.
• Familiar with MBSE, digital engineering, Agile/DevSecOps and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist government with planning, engineering, integration and O&M of mission systems.
• Analyze and document site system architecture and impacts of updates/deliveries.
• Collaborate with HQ Directorates, site organizations and partners on requirements and risks.
• Document, develop and deliver analysis, recommendations, plans, reports/briefings to Government.
• Develop and maintain MBSE models and a digital thread for information integration.
• Leverage digital twin technologies to support risk reduction, rehearsal and verification.
• Support development of automated tests and continuous software improvement.
