Job summary

BWI Group is a premier chassis supplier seeking a Systems Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end systems engineering, definition, design, integration, and verification to meet performance and safety requirements.

The engineer works across hardware, software, test, and manufacturing to translate needs into requirements, develop architectures, manage interfaces, and support validation and launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Systems/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Computer).
• Experience in systems engineering or product development with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to decompose customer needs into system requirements and maintain traceability.
• Familiarity with architecture development, interface control, and documentation practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; capable of understanding hardware–software interactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to non‑specialists.
• Proficiency with standard office tools and willingness to learn engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document stakeholder and customer needs into system requirements.
• Develop system architectures, block diagrams, and interface definitions allocating requirements to hardware/software.
• Manage requirements traceability across lifecycle including verification and validation.
• Coordinate technical discussions across hardware, software, test, and manufacturing teams.
• Define and manage system interfaces (electrical, mechanical, network, software) for subsystem compatibility.
• Contribute to DFMEA and risk assessments; track key technical risks to closure.
• Contribute to V&V plans with test strategies, cases, and acceptance criteria at system levels.
• Analyze test results and field data to confirm performance and drive corrective actions.
• Support change management by assessing impact of design changes and updating docs.
• Prepare and present technical reviews and status updates to stakeholders and customers.
