Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead requirements engineering, system integration, and MBSE across complex defense programs. The role emphasizes V&V, architecture reviews, and lifecycle management within a hybrid work environment.

The successful candidate will mentor teams, coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups, and ensure performance, cost, and schedule alignment while maintaining a Top Secret clearance level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field; 10+ years experience preferred.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Proven leadership in systems engineering and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong requirements management, derivation, allocation, and V&V knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Engineer requirements, systems integration, V&V, MBSE across complex projects.
• Lead system and decision analyses, technical planning, risk management.
• Review and optimize software/hardware architectures for best cost/performance.
• Guide architecture/design development and lifecycle management.
• Mentor team members and drive alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with subcontractors/vendors through development and delivery.
