Job summary

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support U-SIEM within the US Army/NETCOM realm. This onsite role focuses on engineering and maintaining the U-SIEM task, collaborating with a distributed team to meet mission deliverables.

The candidate should have a strong background in Linux, virtualization, and SIEM technologies, plus experience writing A&A/SSP reports and security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience writing technical reports related to Authorization & Accreditation (A&A), System Security Plans (SSP), security policies, or guidance.
• Proficiency with Linux, virtualization platforms and SIEMs.

Responsibilities

• Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and its customers to ensure mission deliverables are met.
• Coordinate with team members and customer as directed by the Task Lead.
• Drive timely completions of work and adapt to changing tasks.
• Resolve varied technical issues.
• Adapt to new challenges through research and teamwork in a large distributed team.
• Utilize Linux OS, VMware virtualization and SIEMs in day-to-day work.
