Job summary

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) seeks a Senior Linux System Engineer to review, analyze and provide Tier III support for patches and updates. Role requires testing baselines in EOF prior to RCC release and ensuring ongoing compliance with STIGs.

Position is 100% onsite at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in Linux environments with security-focused expertise and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
• An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Secret clearance is required.
• IAT Level III certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Develop Enterprise Technical Procedures for patches, upgrades and security configurations.
• Ensure Linux systems comply with baseline requirements and DISA STIGs.
• Monitor solutions via a centralized alerting system.
• Develop an OS lifecycle plan with STIG integration.
