Job summary

Saliense is seeking a Security Engineer - Middle to perform security assessments, SIEM configuration, and incident response for USMS client/server systems. The role requires hands-on pen-testing, router/firewall management, and Linux/Windows security expertise.

The position is onsite in Arlington, VA, with opportunities to influence security programs and advance professionally in a growing organization dedicated to innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven information systems security engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with one or more SIEM tools
• Experience with penetration testing and security assessments

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce information security policies, standards, and guidelines
• Proactively identify IT security risks from technical and functional perspectives
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing for client/server systems
• Coordinate and conduct event collection, log management, and identity monitoring activities
• Analyze data from event monitoring to drive corrective actions and trends
• Maintain awareness of current security threats and respond to incidents to resolution
