Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company hiring a Senior Staff Systems Engineer in Durham, NC. You will translate customer needs into system requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive DFSS practices to ensure robust system performance for complex electromechanical or robotic systems.

You will lead multi-disciplinary projects from concept through validation and support transition to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Six years of post-baccalaureate, progressive, related work experience.
• Experience with design control or Quality Management System.
• Experience across software or electromechanical systems development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate system-level performance for electromechanical and/or robotic systems.
• Translate voice of customer and stakeholder needs into system requirements and assess hazards.
• Lead planning and execution of technical project work across a portfolio of new product development and sustaining products.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and drive robust engineering practices.
