Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead development across ozone, remote plasma sources, and electronic control systems.

You will drive cross-functional design reviews, system integration, verification, and risk mitigation while coordinating with Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. The role requires 5+ years of systems engineering experience, Bachelors in electrical or systems engineering, and capability to manage tradeoffs among cost,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or systems engineering or similar field with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with analog and digital design circuitry, proper test methods, and systems integration.
• Strong technical communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Experience with system integration and Design Verification Test (DVT) plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning activities: scope, effort estimation, milestones, status reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and applications team to scope market requirements.
• Create system-level engineering design specifications and project scope documents.
• Develop and execute system integration, verification, and DVT plans.
