Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC is seeking a senior systems engineer to support a priority national defense effort in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on integrating missile defense elements, guiding technical work across domains, and aligning with MDA objectives.

The candidate will engage in engineering milestones, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver executive-level briefings while ensuring secure development practices and system integrity.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Master's degree in STEM with 12+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures.
• Experience with DoD system elements (e.g., Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, C2BMC).
• Familiarity with secure development practices and cybersecurity-informed engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and briefing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and manage interoperability risks, issues, and reports for Guam and MDA Guam equities.
• Coordinate with GDS JPO, services, and external developers for development, integration, and test assets.
• Develop executive briefings and technical papers for senior leaders, including Flag Officers and SES.
• Lead and participate in engineering milestones (PDR/CDR, TRRs) and technical assessments.
• Apply engineering tools (DOORS, Windchill, Qlik) for analysis and coordination.
• Support system security and cybersecurity inputs in engineering processes.
