Job summary

Avion Solutions Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a System Architecture Engineer to assess missile defense system gaps, develop architecture solutions, and support DoD programs. You will develop analysis plans, execute simulations on HPC systems, review results, and tailor M&S tools to analysis plans.

This role requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance, and travel up to 15%. Active TS/SCI clearance is a plus, and experience with MBSE, Python, MATLAB, and Git will

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Field with 7+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
• Solid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts.
• Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures.
• Experience with MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance.
• Assist with the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools utilizing the DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products.
• Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
