Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The role focuses on delivering Systems Engineering support for Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA) and serving as the on-site Subject Matter Expert for the Intelligence Architecture, including CI, DPED IaaS, and related services.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with DoD and contract engineers across locations, and drive root-cause analysis, system maintenance, backup, and resiliency

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams in intelligence programs.
• Strong communications with senior leadership and external customers.
• Familiarity with Army Intelligence technologies and programs (A-ISR, HADES).

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering support for Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA).
• Serve as on-site SME for Intelligence Architecture: CI, DPED IaaS, distributed services.
• Primary POC for troubleshooting Intelligence Architecture issues.
• Provide technical support for system maintenance, backup and resiliency planning.
• Coordinate with DoD and contract engineers across locations (Germany, Hawaii, CONUS).
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 9+ years

Master's degree + 7+ years

PhD/JD + 4+ years

4 years experience in lieu of degree
