Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC in Provo, Utah is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to manage and enhance IT infrastructure. You'll be responsible for maintaining server environments, optimizing network configurations, and automating processes to improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in systems engineering and proficiency in networking fundamentals, as well as skills in ServiceNow. The role offers a competitive salary starting at $120k annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related technical role.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals with hands-on configuration experience.
• Familiarity with endpoint security and email security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows server environments, including Active Directory.
• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN environments.
• Manage ServiceNow instance administration including upgrades and performance tuning.

Skills

Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls)

Scripting and automation in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript

Experience with ServiceNow modules

Excellent troubleshooting methodology

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education
