Job summary

Aptive Environmental is looking for a full-time Senior Systems Engineer to join our Provo, Utah team. The successful candidate will administer Windows server environments, support MDM platforms, and manage ServiceNow modules.

This role requires 3-5 years of IT infrastructure experience, strong scripting skills, and excellent troubleshooting abilities. We offer a competitive salary of $120k, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with at least one ServiceNow module, including configuration or development.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows server environments, including Active Directory.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance; proactively resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts.
• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN environments including routers and firewalls.
• Administer and support Mobile Device Management platforms.

Skills

3–5 years of experience in systems engineering

Networking fundamentals knowledge

Experience with ServiceNow modules

Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python

Troubleshooting methodology
