Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center is seeking a Systems Engineer III (Senior) to design, implement, and maintain enterprise server platforms across Windows and Linux, with hybrid cloud integrations to support scalability and modernization.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, lifecycle management, automation, and advanced troubleshooting, along with mentoring Level II/I engineers. On-site with hybrid work options; Arizona residency required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Windows and/or Linux/Red Hat administration/engineering roles.
• 2 years automation and/or scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
• MS Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or RHCE or equivalent cert preferred; Azure, CCNP, CISSP/CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise server platforms across Windows and Linux.
• Integrate hybrid cloud technologies (Azure preferred) to support scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Lead small projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop documentation, run books, and training materials.
