Job summary

DCCA is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 - HPC in Maryland to support the HPC team in developing and maintaining architectural direction for compute, memory, interconnect, and storage to meet mission requirements. The role requires an active TS/SCI w/Poly and experience with HPC systems and related documentation.

The candidate will assist in development, testing, and integration of commercial and custom HPC solutions throughout the life cycle while leveraging tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CAMEO.

Qualifications

• Certifications required: CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+.
• Ability to work on complex HPC systems and develop/test integration strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop test and configuration management strategies tailored for each HPC system.
• Contribute to program and system level systems engineering documentation (FRD/SRD, CONOPs).
• Propose/evolve HPC architecture concepts and ensure alignment with strategic plans and vendor roadmaps.
• Analyze alternatives among architectures and justify elements based on mission applications.
• Deliver architecture documentation and diagrams illustrating structure and functions.
• Specify/analyze HPC aspects: processors, accelerators, memory, interconnect, storage, and networks.
• Establish mission-focused performance of each architecture concept with modeling where appropriate.
