Shield AI is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Hivemind Solutions Systems Engineering team. You will support design, development, integration, and validation of complex systems using Hivemind autonomy software.

The role emphasizes requirements management, system architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and V&V activities across hardware and software interfaces, with an emphasis on security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a STEM field; 5+ years systems engineering or related experience.
• Experience with MBSE and related efforts.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, and manage system requirements with traceability.
• Develop system architectures and perform trade studies balancing performance, cost and risk.
• Coordinate interfaces across hardware, software, and external systems.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities including test planning and execution.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle.
