Job summary

Lithios is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development and execution of capital projects featuring Lithios' Advanced Lithium Extraction (ALE). The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience on complex, multidisciplinary facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering preferred; other relevant disciplines considered.
• Exceptional attention to detail in specs, datasheets, drawings and calculations.
• Ability to identify issues and drive technical issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering from concept and design through construction, commissioning and startup.
• Develop and review system and subsystem requirements, equipment specifications, datasheets, design criteria and other technical documentation.
• Maintain understanding of the process flowsheet including feedstock treatment, extraction, water management, and reagents/utilities.
• Act as technical interface to EPCs, review deliverables, challenge assumptions, ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate across process, mechanical, electrical, controls, civil and other engineering disciplines for proper system integration.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, FATs, commissioning and startup activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project team members.
