EnergyX is seeking a Process Engineer to translate advances in lithium extraction into bench-scale, pilot, and demonstration systems. You will lead process development, flowsheet design, simulations, and equipment sizing, and guide the technology transfer to commercialization.

You will mentor a team of engineers, collaborate with EPC contractors, and optimize plants from pilot to commercial scale, contributing to rapid growth in a high-stakes energy transition program.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, or Minerals).
• 5+ years in process development, piloting, scale-up, and operations.
• Hands-on experience in pilot and demo plants, testing, troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydrometallurgical unit operations: membrane separation, ion exchange, evaporation, crystallization, solvent extraction.
• Experience delivering projects from pilot to commercial scale.

Responsabilidades

• Lead scale-up of lithium extraction technologies to commercial scale.
• Oversee pilot and demonstration plants and optimize performance.
• Mentor engineering staff in membrane production, separation, ion exchange/adsorption and solvent extraction.
• Coordinate testing with contract labs and interface with EPC contractors.
• Translate pilot results into PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing.
• Support technology transfer to commercialization.
