Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior-Level GEOINT Systems Engineer to support modernization of GEOINT mission systems and initiatives. The role focuses on architecture, requirements, CONOPS, integration, testing, and transition across NGA programs.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in DoD/IC systems engineering, active TS/SCI clearance, and strong lifecycle expertise, with experience in SOLLUTION TCPED architectures and cross-organizational IPTs. Onsite in VA with enterprise-level planning responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
12+ years' experience in DoD/IC acquisition or large System of Systems engineering.
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and pass a polygraph.
Experience with the Systems Engineering lifecycle.
Experience with agile tools like Jira and Confluence; SAFe certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform architecture gap analysis and develop the Future State Enterprise Architecture.
Conduct engineering analyses to inform GEOINT investment decisions in line with the Enterprise Architecture baseline.
Lead end-to-end integration projects between NGA and Mission Partners, from planning through Transition to Operations.
Contribute to governance, configuration management, and risk management processes.
