Job summary

Fuse Engineering seeks a Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3) to serve as a principal tech leader for NSA EDR programs. You will drive end-to-end integration and optimization of Defender for Endpoint and Trellix HX across on- and off-premises environments, ensuring endpoint visibility and robust threat containment.

The role requires DoD IAM baseline certification or equivalent, with collaboration across threat intel, SOC, and engineering teams to maintain mission resilience.

Qualifications

• MDE architecture and deployment strategies in enterprise environments.
• Trellix HX deployment and management, including air-gapped networks.
• Deep Windows/Linux/macOS internals knowledge for incident response.
• DoD IAM DoK 8570/8140 baseline certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture for MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid environments.
• Translate threat intelligence into technical indicators and drive secure endpoint design.
• Mentor junior engineers and advise government stakeholders on system risks.
