Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior system engineer to lead the lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture of MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.

You will coordinate with threat intelligence teams to translate findings into custom IOCs using KQL and YARA, and advise government stakeholders on risks and engineering considerations. The role requires 20 years of experience, a technical degree or equivalent substitution, and DoD IAM Level

Qualifications

• 20 years’ experience as a system engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (5 years substitution allowed).
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II or III baseline certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture of MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with threat hunting and intelligence analysts to translate threat intel into IOCs using KQL and YARA.
• Advise Government stakeholders on system risks and engineering considerations, mentor junior engineers.
