Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Endpoint Security Systems Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade endpoint security in a hybrid cloud/on‑prem mission environment.

The role focuses on integrating Linux/Windows hosted systems with Trellix and maintaining scan policies to protect critical mission systems from external threats. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Trellix EPO/Endpoint Threat Protection and strong incident response, forensics, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Trellix EPO and Trellix Endpoint Threat Protection.
• Experience maintaining Linux and Windows systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot endpoint security integration with mission apps.
• Experience with incident detection, incident response and forensics.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade central management consoles across isolated networks.
• Integrate mission servers with the management console.
• Deploy endpoint protection updates and optimize scan policies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues with mission teams and tools.
• Automate and improve performance of endpoint security in hybrid environments.
• Integrate endpoint security findings with external tools like Splunk or AppDynamics.
• Investigate malware findings on mission servers.
