Job summary

Radar is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own end-to-end system-level inventory features across hardware, firmware, and software sensors. You will lead problem solving, analyze test data, write requirements, and coordinate releases to ensure high-quality customer deliveries.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams and own testing from design through customer release. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of integrated hardware/software experience, strong data analysis skills

Qualifications

• You have a B.S. in Engineering or any equivalent technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience working on integrated hardware, firmware and software sensors or products.
• Strong problem solving skills with data analysis, e.g., Python and SQL.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to drive team execution.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to align stakeholders from different engineering backgrounds.
• Experience writing system requirements, test plans, or feature specs.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership: be go-to expert for assigned feature(s) and influence design and execution.
• System analysis: analyze RFID tag read data, test performance metrics, and monitor field performance in BigQuery.
• Requirements: write detailed, testable requirements with acceptance criteria.
• Validation: collaborate with System Test to validate changes against requirements.
• Triage and debug: lead sessions to identify root causes and solutions.
• Leadership: drive alignment across Hardware, Software, System Test, Product and Design.
• Release planning: validate scope and timing for customer releases.
