Job summary

TSI Incorporated in Shoreview, MN is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development of technical solutions for new product development projects. You will guide mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams to ensure subsystem integration meets all product requirements.

The role requires extensive systems engineering experience, leadership, and the ability to mentor others while coordinating with a project manager and product/marketing managers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering responsibilities in technical product development.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in Systems Engineering or lead role.
• Experience delivering embedded systems and firmware, hardware, software.
• Experience managing product requirements with stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in technical direction and mentoring.
• Experience with verification and validation, test plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the overall technical solution for new product development projects.
• Develop system architecture and requirements; provide guidance across disciplines.
• Validate designs integrate correctly and meet product requirements.
• Develop and maintain the technical project schedule with the project manager.
• Drive subsystem completion and ensure high quality, fit-for-purpose results.
• Ensure verification, validation methods and measurements conform to requirements.
• Mentor other systems engineers and share best practices.
