Job summary

GRVTY is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to design, implement and maintain DevOps resources for multiple product teams and to learn new skills as needed.

You will contribute to system engineering efforts aligned with DoDAF and SOA, manage requirements, and document interfaces. You will coordinate action items from reviews and participate in an Integrated Product Team to design capabilities across development and operations.

Qualifications

• 20 years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures (DoDAF, SOA).
• Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of development and operational considerations.
• Develop and review System Engineering documentation (SEPs, ICs, Requirements, ICDs).
• Interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle.
• Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components.
• Derive requirements from stakeholder needs and ensure traceability and verifiability.
