Job summary

Tech7 Consulting Llc is seeking a System Engineering Technical Advisor to join the SYD 85 Battle Management Team (BMT). You will serve as a system engineering advisor to the BMT Materiel Leader and team, providing SE and program management support and acting as an engineering SME throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

As a SETA supporting the mission area, you will engage in requirements development, ICD/CDD/CPD reviews, risk assessments, test planning, and cross-agency coordination to enable

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI.
• 10+ years supporting DoD space or related defense acquisition programs.
• Demonstrated experience with JCIDS documentation (ICD, CDD, CPD) and DoD acquisition processes.
• Strong systems engineering skills: requirements development, verification, and configuration management.
• Experience resolving integration/interface issues across government and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support: data management, IT support, systems engineering, configuration management, security, and infrastructure coordination.
• Act as technical advisor and SME at design reviews, IPTs, and briefings; produce analyses and recommendations.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement between program leadership and external agencies for cross-program alignment.
• Develop ICDs/CDDs/CPDs, monitor milestones, and provide risk assessments and recommendations.
