Job summary

Space Systems Integration LLC in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Space Digital Systems Engineer to support SETA activities for space vehicles and missions. You will assess, design, build, and integrate space hardware and software, using MBSE and SysML/UML, leading validation and verification efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires DoD/IC experience, a strong engineering background, and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years DoD/IC, or relevant industry work experience.
• MA/MS/ME degree required; ABET-accredited program or PE license preferred.
• Experience with MBSE tools to create, manage, and optimize systems and products.
• Proficiency with SysML/UML to capture requirements, architecture, and design.
• Experience with modeling and simulation applications.
• Experience with DoD acquisition including documentation generation and programmatic discussions.
• Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI and SCI eligibility; willing to undergo polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex projects.
• Leads or supports technical programs requiring engineering oversight.
• Ensures completion of programs within time and budget; communicates risks to government customers.
• Ensures deliverables meet standards and supports warfighting objectives.
• Plans and performs engineering research, design development, and testing in conformance with specs.
• Coordinates with partners to ensure system engineering and milestone delivery.
• Tracks design trades and associated cost, schedule, and technical impacts.
